How does pricing work?
There are two ways to use Ten. The open-source version is free: point your own AI assistant at the GitHub project and it runs on your computer. The hosted version runs in your browser, and you pay only what the AI costs to run, with nothing added on top. New hosted accounts get $1 of free credit to try it.
What do I need for the free version?
An AI assistant that can read a GitHub project and run commands on your computer, such as Claude Code, Cowork, Grok, ChatGPT or Google Antigravity, and Node.js 18 or newer. Point it at the GitHub link, open a folder for your search, and say "I need a job."
Does Ten apply to jobs for me?
No, and that's deliberate. Auto-apply bots burn your reputation and convert terribly. Ten does the homework before the click, like research, tailoring and prep, and you make every call. It never submits anything on your behalf.
Can I hire a service to do this instead?
You can. A résumé service or executive coach typically runs $400–$900 a month, with days of turnaround between revisions. Ten does that work free on your own AI, or at cost on ours, and it's available at 11pm the night before your interview. Everything it learns about you carries over to every session.
Why not just ask a chatbot?
A chatbot on its own forgets you between sessions and will confidently guess at your work history. Ten gives your AI a memory, kept in files you own, and a method for the whole search. It builds research and prep without being asked.
What will I actually spend on the hosted version?
Only what the AI costs to run. Most replies cost a fraction of a cent, and a search of the web a little more. The $1 of free credit covers a first real session. After that you add credit through PayPal, and PayPal's fee comes off the pack. Your balance is always on screen, so you see what you spend.
